As the front page says on our web site "Love is in the Air". Valentine's day is just around the corner and we are working hard to be ready for all those orders. This year Valentine's day falls on a Sunday so plan ahead. Decide when you want your flowers delivered. Traditionally Friday will be our busiest day for deliveries so order early.

I would also like to take some time to talk about the care of roses. They should have a good red color with dark green foliage. The head of the rose should be firm. They should stand up straight on their own and not be bent at the neck.


Taking care of the roses after delivery is a must. Keep them in a cool location and do not put them on top of any appliance that puts off heat. Check your vase for water daily and keep it full to the top. If the water starts to look dirty change the water at once. A good quality rose like the ones purchased at your local retail florist should last 7 to 14 days.
